"They have plenty of availability with online therapists, which is why I'm giving it two stars. The actual quality of the therapists leaves something to be desired. Counseling from inexperienced/unknowledgeable individuals can cause great harm, so if you need a therapist who is capable of processing complex issues, this center is not your best bet. Another specific complaint I have is that the lack of POC perspectives at Talking Works, particularly for Asian communities, is extremely disappointing. They should be doing much more as a team to widen the breadth of services available."

"I have only the best things to say about Lana Gaiton Psychological Services. I was seeing Olga Gonsiorowska for four years and I am not hesitant to say that she is the best. This woman saved my life both literally and figuratively. She is the most intelligent and knowledgeable therapist you could wish for. She is tough so don't expect her to be a shoulder to cry on. I'm not saying Olga can't be sympathetic and supportive but she is not there to talk about how bad all the bad guys in your life are. Instead she will tell you which mistakes of yours brought you into this situation and most importantly how to fix it. If you are not a fan of tough love she might not be the best therapist for you but if you are able to handle the truth you will have a truly eye opening and life altering experience with her. So get ready to roll up your sleeves, do some work (and some homework), be patient and let your your life change for the better. Another psychologist there was working with my kids. First of all I got to say that Tatiana is a sweetheart and my kids just loved her. She helped them to get through some turbulent times and to manage their moods better. She is a wonderful specialist and a wonderful person."

"Lana Gaiton's office was recommended by my daughter's pediatrician. We were assigned to Natalia Nikulina. From the very first meeting, Natalia has established herself as a very experienced specialist. My daughter and I always felt comfortable during the meetings because Natalia was a friendly, positive, attentive, and sensitive person. If I ever need a social worker's service again I will turn to her without hesitation because the meeting with her exceeded my expectations. She is an experienced specialist in addition to being a wonderful person."

"Supremely unprofessional and disappointing service from every angle. My very first session my therapist showed up late, did little more than nod in agreement, told me I would have to pay extra if I chose to pay in cash instead of credit, and then supposedly cancelled my appointment for the following week. When the following week rolled around, she asked me why I was not at the session and then stated I would be charged an additional no-show fee. I tried to dispute it or at the very least reschedule for when I was back in town, but I was informed they "cannot hold my spot that long". I would sooner go skinny dipping in the Hudson than return here for help. Cheers."
