"A year ago, Dr. Schifeling came highly recommended by one of my specialist but the receptionist said he does not really see patients. I got a young Asian doctor (can’t remember his name) but he was an awful physician. I have multiple sclerosis and was just came off heavy steroids a few months earlier so I was concerned about the excess weight. He dismissed my concerns and basically insinuated that I must be overeating and that’s the only reason I’m fat. He gave me literature on how to not overeat—for context, I am a pescatarian who is a picky eater and under calories. My dear neurologist was the one who found that my thyroid is extremely enlarged. I called the primary care to set up an appointment and spoke to the disgusting excuse for a receptionist. She yelled at me “what is the emergency” when I told her I couldn’t wait months for an appointment. It’s been over a year and I won’t go back to this office."
