"Just had one of the worst interactions with Michelle who told me to simply stop calling for more money when it was all a misunderstanding. Making it seem like I was trying to scam them when I have no need too. I was told I would receive something and when I called her she said she did not email me back because she thought I “got over” on them. Very rude. Remember what assuming does."
"In my opinion this doodlebugs branch is very disability unfriendly. My recollection: I have previously discussed a care plan and practices with staff members that were not applied appropriately when my son returned to doodlebugs and the specific employees were no longer present. I received a phone call letting me know that after having a school day without those practices discussed being implemented, I had to leave to come pick my son up. Brandi sounded almost proud to be dismissing him from their future care. They said for you we won’t charge you the next two weeks you had signed up for as if they were doing me a favor. I’m personally disgusted in our experience after years of attendance between branches. Update ( my opinion and how I perceived things): I did call and received a very corporate legal response where they used files against him and applied untruthful what if’s to his situation when I quoted his teachers positive feedback. Although I will be receiving my own money back ( deposit and I used future weeks) I don’t feel as if anything was truly resolved and am left hurt, frustrated, and unheard. The way that things transpired were due to mismanagement and miscommunication between team members and this family and it negatively impacted my sons chances at success. I would love to hear about real changes in their future and sensitivity education provided to said employee ( Brandi)- But that still leaves us in a poor position. It’s funny they commented under this to appear positive and caring - when in fact the feelings and situation weren’t resolved after the conversation and the lady I spoke with tried to turn the situation on me insinuating I was making a bad choice for my child when in fact it was a safer choice than many. These companies need to do better with inclusion and opportunities. it’s not just us- it’s many families that struggle with child care and safety of childcare options and doodle bugs has closed the door on many of our families quietly instead of designing a program for all."
