She has seen past the diagnosis, he adores her, and she knows how to get through to him. Even setting up an original appt with the front desk was great. "I am very disappointed in the appointment process, I started care with The Next Step a few months ago. There was some good things that came from the Next Step but from my first interaction with Ben who answers the phones and schedules the appointments something didn't feel right. I asked for a female therapists and he said he doesn't have any who are accepting new patients. I said I would wait, he said its going to be a while they don't have any appointments available for new patients. I was put on the waiting list and after thinking about how I was just ready to start my healing journey, I called back and scheduled myself with the first doctor that was available. I came to know of The Next Step because of a outside referral from Dr. Jooma, who I wanted to start seeing at The Next Step. I now see Ben Marlow and have been requesting an appointment for me to see Dr. Jooma and for some strange reason, I could never get an appointment. After various phone calls and text messages, no appointments were made. I had to resort to return to my previous clinic that prescribes my medication. Now I have asked to have all appointments cancelled again with no response from Ben. I explained everything to Mr. Marlow who was saddened by my decision to leave all together, and he was able to cancel all of my appointments. Both Mr. Marlow and Dr. Jooma are amazing, if you can get an appointment scheduled with them you wont regret it. Sadly, I have to be one of the people who has fallen through the cracks. I sure hope that others are not being ignored the same way I was."
