"I came in as a walk-in today for a Wash&Cut and was greeted by Cengiz, the salon owner, who is very friendly and extremely flexible with scheduling. You can tell the place is popular as many regulars were in and out, yet he found a way to cut my hair as a walk-in which I really appreciated. The assistant Meliha is also a wonderful person - extremely nice and personable. Everyone working there is friendly and knows you by name. The space is very clean and well maintained and my wash&cut was so affordable for the area! I would highly recommend Cengiz and the staff at C&C. This is a hidden gem in the Upper East Side!"
"This is a hidden gem on the Upper East Side. If you know…you know. Exceptional haircuts, blowouts, and the best color I’ve ever had. I’ve been going for years. I stopped going to all the fancy downtown places after I found it. It helps that everyone is kind and prices reasonable, but I actually think it’s better than all the other places I went in SoHo, Tribeca and Chelsea with celebrity stylists or influencer following. Make sure you book in advance or you won’t get a spot on weekends or busy times. And tip generously…they are all very good people."
"Deniz was lovely and amazing - turned my gray, orange-tinted brown hair to a beautiful shade of dark brown, gave me a great haircut and blow dry. Everyone who works at this small salon is warm and friendly. This is definitely my new spot!"
"I have been coming to C&C for six months now!! Having moved to the UES, I was in desperate need of a hair salon that was in my neighborhood. Jenny is amazing and always does an incredible job!! From the first day we met, she listened to what I wanted and delivered exactly that. He signature butterfly haircut is incredible. Her blowouts also last for days. When I told Jenny I was considering highlights, she carefully walked me through the process and made sure we didn't go to lite. C&C is the best neighborhood salon. The entire staff is super welcoming. I could not recommend C&C more - you will love it!!"
"Came in for a cut and balayage (warning I had done at home hair dye before so it was a bit choppy) and they did an amazing job! Hair looks good, prices are reasonable, and staff is attentive. Will be going back as my regular spot!"
