"I received the most awful haircut here using a Groupon two weeks ago. I asked for a simple trim on the ends without any layers because I have curly hair. The man cut a HUGE section from my front to match the length of my baby hairs (???) probably assuming that those baby hairs were a face frame. Who even does that? Now a huge chunk of my curly hair is the length of my baby hairs and it looks ridiculous. And as if that wasn't enough, the guy kept trying to sell me their keratin treatment and was shoving it down my throat. Do not come here! They do not respect your wishes and only care about making money and trying to sell expensive treatments."

"Found this place a few years ago because my colleague recommended it since it’s a few blocks from my job. I left this place feeling elegant. Been here a few times and tried a few different styles - long hair with layers and recently short elegant sleek cut. Julia is the best. Will definitely be going back. Worth every penny."

"Please be assured that this is my first public negative review as I don’t like to publicly call out bad businesses. However, due to the way I was treated on the phone plus I lost money, I must say something. I called the salon to schedule an appt for a Groupon that I had purchased. The man asked if I’d been there I said I didn’t think so but verified that I hadn’t. He said the Groupon was for new customers only. I advised him that this caveat wasn’t mentioned on the Groupon but I am a new customer so the point is moot. He then suggested I ask for a refund as they don’t make money on Groupon and it’s a way to get new clients (I assume that if I had gotten the Groupon rate at the salon which they generally honor that this wouldn’t have been such an issue). I said I had already purchased it and wanted to make an appt. He became increasingly frustrated with me trying to offer me additional services which I did not need. I then asked who the stylist would be and he asked me why it mattered. Essentially this man was incredibly rude and then hung up on me. I tried to get a refund from Groupon at his insistence and Groupon would only offer me Groupon bucks. So essentially I lost my money since they wouldn’t serve me. To the salon owner:If you’re not making money on Groupon and are going to treat those who purchase like second class citizens I would encourage you to not use Groupon and consider other means of marketing."

"Best price you’ll find in NYC for the service. No frills but great haircut and great deal. My hair is pretty simple so I can’t vouch for anything complicated. But for a trim and layers on straight hair, no complaints. My stylist (forget his name, but young man) also took some feedback for minor tweaks well and immediately fixed them. Definitely recommend."

"I get my fusion extensions here done by Natalie and she is absolutely AMAZING. She listens to exactly what you want, very transparent, and makes sure you leave the salon happy no matter what. Everyone who works at the salon is also so amazing. After I get my extensions in, Julia cuts, and blends my hair and she is such a talented hair cutter/stylist. I am very particular with my hair, and will always return here. After I got my extensions done the first time, and I came back to get them redone, my hair not only grew faster, but doubled in volume and was much healthier due to how well Natalie put my extensions in. This is worth the investment, and you will never want to go anywhere else after coming here. If i could give this place 10 stars I would! Highly, highly recommend, you will not be disappointed."
