Radio Social is a unique entertainment venue located in the historic Stromberg-Carlson warehouse in Rochester, New York. This 42,000-square-foot facility offers a combination of a bar, bowling alley, and restaurant, providing a one-of-a-kind experience for guests. The venue features an award-winning Middle Eastern menu, craft cocktail and whiskey bars, 34 bowling lanes, lounge areas, indoor and outdoor games, and event space for public and private gatherings.
Guests under 21 years old are not permitted after 9 p.m., but minors bowling with a parent or guardian past 9 p.m. can stay until their lane rental ends. The venue also hosts special events such as The Lucky Flea on Sundays, Thirst Thursdays with DJ Chreath, and live music performances like Aaron DeRuyter & The Confluence with ZYDECORP. "Had been to this place for the 2024 New Year party, and it was really great! We played bowling for a while and enjoyed the pizza and fries. Then, I enjoyed the live music till the clock ticked 12AM. This place is really great for hangout. It has definitely become our hangout place already!"
"Great atmosphere. We had booked a lane for bowling which everything was ready on time. You can get food delivered right to your lane. Drink selections were great as well. There was a pool table and shuffle board - would have been nice if you could just play a game or two of one of those without having to pay to rent it for an extended period."
"Went bowling yesterday with some friends. Haven’t been here in a few years but the place is still great. It is kind of pricey for bowling unless you have a large group of people. The food is pretty good and they have some games as well. I would go back again for sure with another large group of people."
"Had an extremely good time playing at this venue! For a large room, the sound was really good and the staff was extremely helpful in getting everything setup. They even provided food for us, which we were very thankful for. Look forward to working with Radio Social again in the future!"
"Went for Sunday brunch. I thought it was all very good, but not perfect. We got a lot of items. The lemon waffle was delicious and delicate, though very sweet, I couldn't have more than a small amount. The crispy potatoes were wonderful and the dipping sauces were delicious. The pork schnitzel itself was a little underwhelming, but it was in a delicious bed of some kind of sauce. The lamb pandensal was very tasty but a bit salty. The crab dip was wonderful. The breakfast pizza seemed small and maybe on the dry side, but was tasty overall. The house donut was a perfect treat to end the meal with. Their coffee was pretty good too, it's nice to see that there's attention to details like that. I also enjoyed the Pimms cup I had. One thing I found quite disappointing was the khachapuri. I've had Georgian cheese bread before and this was not it. The dough was flat, dense, and chewy. It felt like they tried to use some kind of pastry dough maybe? It felt undercooked. The bread is supposed to have a nice crispy crust and a bready, fluffy filling."
