Mac's Philly Steaks

"Disheartened by a recent experience at Mac Philly Steak in Rochester, NY. The lack of respect from an employee left a sour taste. It’s disheartening when a place you enjoy falls short on customer service. Hoping for better encounters in the future. My colleague and i eat there almost every week order the same thing every week. We even go as far as sitting in the same seats as well. Anyways, today we ordered our regular. Took us a few minutes before we could order because she was tending to her toddler daughter. Which is fine we don’t know what other people are going through, again i get that. She took our order maybe she was distracted but one of our orders didn’t get sweet potato fries. Which my colleague went up front to tell her then the young lady began cursing and yelling. So he sat down yes they were exchanging words between each other but nothing disrespectful on our end. The young lady continued to use profanity in front of her daughter then even went as far getting into his face and continued to curse Him out. Maybe she wanted a reaction from us which we are grown adults that’s highschool drama save that for home this isn’t the palce and time for it. Then the cook in the back wanted to defend her. Lol also she called the police on us so we continued to eat our food and left with the nice officers. Never again will you get our business. I always tell employees i work close with for all my businesses i work with you never know who you’re talking to on the opposite side of you. Always keep your composure and represent the business you work for."

"Stopped in here before the Tool consert at blue cross arena and the "garbage" esque plates are fun to enjoy, however the fried aspect of the dish was double fried and too crispy for the order. Looking forward to the next visit."

"It was my first time trying Mac's Philly steaks... it seems like a pretty busy place the food was pretty good but it was just your average "let's get something to eat quick" with a few unique choices I will say! I would definitely try this place again but I would eat there this time. I got my food and I took it to go I just wanted something quick and it fit the bill! So I say try this place! There's going to be something on the menu for you and you can't go wrong!"

"Only place I will get a Philly cheesesteak sub from. They are huge, delicious and priced right. They don't use fake steak they use real chopped steak and its bagging! Normally my husband can eat a whole sub but from here we each eat half a sub and are so full its unreal. Love this place, just wish they were open later lol I work late so by the time I'm done there closed and its they only place I like so I have to make my man get it before they close. Do your self a favor and eat here. You won't be disappointed. Parking can be tough but that's not there fault its the plazas."

"All my son wanted for his birthday was a steak sub. So we googled best steak subs and picked the place with the highest rating. I'm not personally a huge fan of steak subs and I finished my 4 inch sub and was left wanting more. My son's girlfriend ordered the 8 inch and she was upset she didn't get the bigger size too. No one was disappointed! It was enjoyed by everyone."
