"If only zero stars were an option. When I pulled in the exterior looked poor and sketchy people outside so I went to a nearby place that was less expensive and booked so I went back to the Days Inn. When I told the woman at the desk I had a service dog she told me all rooms for pets were taken and illegally refused to rent me a standard room I told her that was illegal, even pulled up the ADA guidelineson my phone, she refusedtolook at it. She was extremely nasty and rude. I went to a Quality Inn up the road, nicer hotel that specifies no pets but had no problem accepting my service dog, who is extremely well trained, no barking, no destructive habits and no accidents. I will be lodging a complaint with the ADA. I emailed the owner to inform him of the violation and his response was "sorry for the inconvenience. See you later." I never saw the inside of the rooms but if the exterior isn't well maintained I can't imagine the interior is any better."

"It’s a typical motel with a wall-mounted A/C & heater. The location is very central and noisy. There are 3 columns on rooms, of which there is a middle row with no direct access to the parking lot. The lady working at the counter was very helpful though. I was on a motorcycle and she offered to put my bike right in front of the video surveillance and it was all good when I woke up. I stayed there because I had been camping and it was unexpectedly getting into then 30’s which was too cold for the gear I had. I don’t think it was that much better, but I was able to get started earlier with an easier pack routine, the shower was nice, and I wasn’t freezing. Not much better than a campsite, but I think it’s fair for what you pay, albeit maybe a little overpriced. That pic is of the main shower towel they provide. It’s about as big as one of the towels I use for the gym. It went from my chin to my ding dong. It’s very short. That about sums up the experience. Clean, but cheap."

"clean and close to everything. We have visited Clayton for at least 5 years now. At first we used the local Air BnBs, but they are very expensive. So we took a chance on this room because it is so convenient to recreation and the shops and restaurants of Clayton. We had not chosen Days Inn for a couple of decades, but this location has stepped up its game! very happy with the value, cleanliness, and the staff is great."

"Keep in mind it is a 2 Star hotel. It was in 3 Star cleanliness and decor. The staff was 4 Star hotel quality. The rooms were surprisingly quiet and the showers were nicely hot."

"Mascara and hair on the sheets and pillowcases. Body fluid stains on top of the white bed spread. Towels smelled like smoke and had black hairs. Our room was changed still had mold in the bathroom. But the mattresses were very comfortable and the air filter on A/C was clean (I checked). The pool was clean and it is in a great location central to town. Someone entered our room while we were gone but nothing was taken. They shut my do not disturb sign in the locked door or we wouldn’t have known. The breakfast was old pre packaged great value pastries."
