"I really, really hate to leave negative reviews for our locally owned restaurants, but sometimes I just get so irritated at the high prices and bad food these days. Ate here recently with 2 friends. One of them ordered the $20 gnocchi which comes with nothing. ($6 extra if you want a salad.) While ordering, the wait staff asked, "Would you like a meatball with that." He responded, "Sure." Turns out the meatball was $14. Fourteen. Dollars. (It was actually their appetizer meatball, which is clearly sized to be shared among 4 or more friends.) I ordered the Chicken Marsala (also comes with nothing, except bread). If it had even one drop of marsala in it I'd eat my hat. Tough chicken in pale brown water. Bad. Service was good, host was friendly and accomodating, hence the 2 stars versus 1 star review. Another restaurant I won't be returning to."

"Food was good but overpriced and $25 chicken French and another $25 chicken dish did not come with pasta!! That’s costs extra $7 per person. One diner opted for it and it was a measly portion! Never saw chicken French not come with pasta. Also hours were posted open til 10 pm but we were told at 9:10 pm that they were closing."

"We ordered margherita pizza, chicken parmesan, glazed carrots, and lamb chops. The bread before the meal was good but served in a paper bag which was unusual. The pizza came approximately 15 minutes before all the other food so we all finished at different times. We had to ask for water refills a couple times (other reviews mentioned the same thing which was interesting). Service was nice, restaurant was clean, but chicken was tough, and pizza, carrots, and lamb didn't have much flavor. It looks like a cool atmosphere outside-- maybe we'll go back for drinks in the warmer months but won't be going back otherwise."

"Folks looks are deceiving, this is one of those reviews that I really didn't want to do but purely had to for the sake of your wallet and dissatisfaction. We have here a simple Chicken Marsala plate on take out. Arrived with 3 pieces of complimentary toasted bread and the plastic container wrapped in saran wrap to my surprise. I was very excited because that is not a usual practice amongst restaurants. So for presentations they certainly win. However I was quickly let down with what Joe says is one of their most popular dishes. My tastebuds reaked if flour and notes of oil, the marsala with mushroom boldness was purely just flour. I was super sad at this. I just spent $27 dollars with a $5 dollar tip "cause I picked it up." I'm really let down by this one and regrettably with prices that high. I can get the flavor of Cicken Marsala from olive garden for way less $$. Sorry Joe, I'll try you out again maybe in a few months, but at least I did have the courtesy to call and formally let you know. I hope next time is better. I got you on this dish though, its sauteing as we speak with the correct sauce consistency.... On a side note, prices are a bit steep. I absolutely will not be recommending!!! It's absolutely to expensive for the low quality. Joe.. have a little excitement when you answer the phone next time will ya? How can I help you with a really poor attitude is just so unwelcoming. You didn't even offer to make it right, you just told me that it's one of your most popular dishes. Which tells me you think I'm just full of it when I spoke to you. I assure you though, it's all flour in that dish. You really have an opportunity here, get better. :)"

"Me and a friend meet there for their specials. We ordered each a martini which were both very good. We were surprised to see that on our check we were upcharged for special vodka that we didn't ask for. Quite frankly, that is sneaky and we should have been asked if we wanted a higher shelf alternative. If so, I definitely wouldn't have chosen Seagrams. I really don't like being taken advantage of and by the time I got my check, I was too tired to say anything, which I regret. Look at the picture. $29 for food $42 for liquor! We had a martini when we arrived and one with our dinner! $42?!"
