"Pre-Covid, this place was awesome. Been back a couple times since and the food is just not impressive. The table had the fried pickles, the waffle fries, the chicken tenders, some mac & cheese, and a BLT sandwich . All & all, the food was bland. Didn’t even feel like eating the leftovers when we took them out of the fridge, just ended up tossing it. It was that bland. I miss when the food had flavor! this Total cost $65 with tip."
"My guest and I arrived right at 8:00pm. The restaurant seemed to be about 30% occupied. We were seated immediately, we chose the inside rather than the outdoor patio. In less than two minutes our server Nicole came to the table. We ordered beverages. The beverages arrived quickly. We were not ready to order. Nicole gave us a few more minutes. I ordered the pasta Florentine, my guest ordered the corned beef Reuben. Our meals were delivered within ten minutes. While Nicole was very attentive before our meals arrived, she did not revisit to ensure the meals were as expected. The good news, our meals were both great."
"Melton's is one of the essential Atlanta taverns. The staff is solid, though some servers are more gun than others. The food is quality pub grub. The creole pasta, better burger, and tuna melt are favorites. Melton's is especially known for their sauce and waffle fries. Also worth noting, they have beer and wine, but no liquor. They do have a fair number of TVs, so it's a great place to watch events."
"We like this place. I will say that it used to be better before Covid. It is a staple neighborhood restaurant with beer and wine. The chef’s salad is probably one of my favorite salads in the city. I have tried to recreate it at home so many times, but it’s just not the same. They cut down the menu since Covid, and there’s not as many options. The sandwiches and soups are all good. I do miss some items and the overall feel of the place."
