She kindly accommodated our late arrival, gave us helpful directions to Asheville (our destination) and prepared the most delicious breakfast. "Shavers B&B in Abingdon is phenomenal. Joan and Mike are wonderful. They were very accommodating to both my wife and I. Joan's breakfast is the stuff of legends. We had a fruit tray, sausage, bacon, scones, toast eggs and homemade waffles. We were offered both coffee and juice. Our whole stay (2 nights) refreshments were kept stocked beside our rooms. Coffee was offered early in the morning and then offered again with breakfast. The rooms are breathtaking to say the least. The have modern comfort yet hint at the antiquity that is found all over the chraming town of Abingdon. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at shavers."
