"We've hosted our staff holiday party at The Gather Inn 2 years in row. The house is roomy enough for a large crowd (we had about 20 folks) and has several rooms for everyone to spread out. The kitchen is sizeable with room for a nice spread and also contains those extra items that you may have forgot to bring! Donna, the owner, is warm and gracious and always makes sure we have everything we need. Everyone in our group loves this space because of the warm and inviting atmosphere."
"Love the Gather Inn. Donna is a very gracious and accommodating host. Her beautiful home is your beautiful home during your stay. Perfect for entertaining. We had friends over for a fun gathering on her patio. Historic home in walking distance to Restaurants, The Barter Theatre and Martha Washington Inn. "Stayed in Abingdon for our anniversary. Small, comfortable, Historical. Awesome room and Awesome little Library. Recommended for sure!!"
"The receptionist working this particular evening was very rude about the pool area "rules" that was occupied by six or seven adults ages 38-55 and know how to present themselves.. she talked to us like we were 12 . Not a good impression on the hotel or the brand . Other than that everything was good to go. Good experience otherwise, can't let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch."
