They came for emergency call on Sunday night, did an estimate Monday and worked through a snow storm Tuesday to provide an entire new system knowing my family had no heat. "What do you do when you find a lake inside your bathroom vanity - and you know YOU don't have the skills to replace a leaky trap??? Search the web for a plumber .... I had seen ads and trucks for Folkes in the area so I tried them. The office staff was pleasant, and they called back with an appointment time when they promised. The plumber, Zach, was punctual, agile, knowledgeable, pleasant, and tidy! Ask about their Veterans' Discount. I will be calling Folkes for any further plumbing needs."
"Folkes has been wonderful to us. We have had the preventative maintenance contract for a few years now for our furnace and central A/C. They come and service them each season and are friendly, courteous, clean and just all around kind. We have also had to call them for emergency service and they are fast and efficient. "Our furnace stopped working on the coldest day. The staff and technicians at Folkes were very responsive and attentive. After diagnosing the issue and going through options, we decided to purchase a new furnace. They guided us through the type of furnaces available and what would work best for our home. Folkes loaned us space heaters for a day until the new furnace was put in. The installers were polite, smart, and very experienced. They walked us through the process, ensured it was working properly after installation and gave us some advice on how to maintain going forward. We also purchased a service contract. While I spent way more than I expected or wanted, the quality of the service and the product was very high. The company seems very reliable and I will continue to use them."
