Welcome to New City Café & Roastery, a unique and community-focused establishment located in the heart of the Beechwood neighborhood in Rochester, New York. Our café not only serves delicious coffee from around the world, but also strives to create sustainable change in the minds, bodies, souls, and spirits of our community.
At New City Café & Roastery, we are committed to empowering and supporting the youth in our neighborhood by providing them with opportunities for growth and development. Through our mentorship program, we help young adults discover their talents and skills as they serve our community.
Our dedication to serving extends to our coffee as well. We carefully source high quality, fairly traded coffee beans from exceptional farmers and roast them with precision to bring out the unique flavors of each blend.
You can purchase our freshly roasted coffee beans at our café, through our online store, or in bulk for your business, office, or church. By supporting New City Café & Roastery, you are also supporting the mission of 441 Ministries Beechwood, a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to bringing hope, healing, and holistic development to the Beechwood neighborhood through the teachings of Jesus Christ.

"One of my go to places! New City roasts their own coffee beans but more than that, the heart behind this little cafe is priceless! It is an organization established to help others within the community so every purchase you make goes back into supporting the local community -- what's not to love! The food is delicious and all of the prices are reasonable and honestly cheaper than most coffee shops without compromising on quality! Plenty of seating and they really go the extra mile to accommodate customer needs and preferences! Can't say enough good things about this spot!"
"Just came here, and this place is so adorable. To start the staff working here are diverse, which is something I can appreciate. The establishment is very clean and spacious, and the staff working are super friendly ❤️ My best friend an I came here in a whim just searching to local coffee spots and this one had a 4.8 star rating. I got the Iced Turtle Latte, which tasted yummy no sugar or cream needed. It's a little thicker due to the chocolate and caramel but I enjoyed it very much. On the other side they have a good size seating area with a couch lounge area and a place to play chess/checkers. Overall, nice experience and I hope to visit again soon. The parking is Street parking from what I could see."

"Beautiful interior, lots of extra seating! The pumpkin spice coffee was so good along with the breakfast bagel sandwich, it had so much yummy cheese on it and was melted just right! The pastries were fresh and delicious. Great selection, super friendly staff, atmosphere and prices! We’ll definitely be back!"
