"I've had a positive experience shopping at this store as well as some of my family members for quite some time now. Enough so that they send me promotional emails to come back in when a period of 2weeks or so goes by. UNTIL 02/18/2023, night shift manager, at least that's what she said she was. She wouldn't give me her name after she so rudely told me I had to leave the store after just taking a $15 Uber down there with a 3yr old in tow. If you have kids you know it's a feat taking them anywhere. So she gave me a ridiculous reason and threatened to call the cops which I encouraged. She did. Nothing happened after explaining the situation to the New Hartford PD. But this so-called employee aka manager is very unprofessional and I hope that Catholic charities does something about their employees displaying such disregard for a regular, paying customer. Especially being a charitable organization and all that gets their revenue/merchandise from donations , just regular down to earth people like me & whoever comes across this review.. Shameful Ma'am. I have video just to prove I wasn't acting in any negative or violent manner in the hopes this organization rectifies this situation. Thank you."

"This is an ok thrift store. You don't normally expect to find a lot of quality when you go to one, but this one offers reasonably good clothes for good prices but no brands. What I do love from here is the books section, they keep their shelves really well organized and in great condition, unfortunately this store is located in a really old building complex, so sometimes you will see leaks on the roof and the place will generally have an unpleasant, but tolerable, smell (this goes for all the other stores in the area) Something great from here is the donation process, as you basically just go out back and drop your old stuff off. No questions asked, Contrary to some other stores like Plato's closet, which, for me, is infamous for its awful donation process. Generally a good used store, maybe even the best one in the area so far!"
