She was very informed and provided advisement where needed and was not pushy. She tripled the sales that would have been made if she had not helped me! Go Sydney!!!! You should be in corporate!"

"I need some new jeans and love the AE curvy jeans, so I came by to see if they had any in store that I liked. Employee approached and asked "would you like to start a fitting room, or are these for your daughter?" I don't have a daughter. I was looking at jeans that were obviously my size on the clearance rack. Maybe she didn't mean it that way, but it came off like she thought I was too old to be shopping here for myself. I'm 30 btw. (But even if I was 60, what's the problem with buying some jeans from AE?? They have styles that are appropriate for all ages). It honestly made me feel uncomfortable, like I shouldn't be shopping here. I ended up trying on a couple pairs of jeans anyway though, and a couple of sundresses. Just didn't love anything, so wanted to put them back. Girl working the fitting room asked if they didn't work out, I said no and handed them to her. Then she asked "why didn't they work out?" She literally wanted an explanation for each item on why I didn't want to buy it. I guess she was trying to be helpful, but it came off more like an interrogation. Really pushy and weird vibe. I still love AE and am still gonna wear their jeans whether they like it or not, but I guess I'm just going to order online from now on."

"I needed to leave a review after my experience yesterday. I have been to this store many times. It is always always so beautifully organized and it’s usually not busy so you can enjoy shopping in peace. I wanted to brag on the staff. They greet you as you come on and are so attentive to you throughout your whole shopping experience. I always try on what seems like a thousand things to leave with only a few items, but the staff are so kind and helpful every time. Yesterday I worked with a sweet girl who helped me pick out two very cute and flattering pairs of shorts. She was so good to me and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and left feeling good in the items I had picked! I can’t tell you how many times I have felt rushed or defeated when trying on clothes and picked something that I got home and just didn’t like. I love shopping here and it’s one of the best store experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this location!"
