"I don't even know where to begin! secretary or whoever is answering phones and booking appointments is the worst. We can never get through and when we finally get through she is very rude and is no help whatsoever. I called to change an appointment and she never picked up and till this day is trying to bill me $50 for missed appointment which I left voicemails for. he is very old and shakes when attending to my child. I do not trust him anymore as a doctor with my child and starting taking my kid straight to urgent care first because I know she will get attended to quickly without a hassle or a rude secretary. I'm being very gracious even giving 1 star"

"Dr Merkler billed my children $50 for Write off courtesy after not running the insurance before a visit. We had switched our children pediatrician during COVID 19 pandemic because Dr. Merkler wanted to charge for telehealth visits stating they were not covered by insurance when if fact we did our visit in person. My children where vaccinated by Dr Merkler who is a very very old gentleman and his hands were shaking while he’s administering vaccines. Him and his wife are thieves to over charge patients during a global pandemic. If you have public health insurance be aware they will try to make up charges and not be treated fairly."

"Dr. Merkler is a wonderful, caring doctor. He always has an ear to listen to your concerns, his nurse Carmen is such a loving person but his receptionist and wife are rude and unpleasant. I took my lil one to see him and we had to wait in the hallway and my lil one was at the door the receptionist pushed him back and told me that he couldn’t come in. I have never experienced anything like this in the twenty years of coming to him."

"I already left a positive review that would suffice in sharing our first experience at Dr. Merkler's office. That was about a year ago and Dr. Merkler himself remains such a wonderful doctor. He is patient towards his-patients, forward-thinking, doesn't provide scripted answers but actually seeks the right solution. We even went in about a couple of weeks ago, and I must say he is just a superb human being, and I think that high humanistic quality he possesses, above all else, is what makes him a great doctor."
