"If it weren’t for my insistence on removing the lump from 27-year-old daughter’s breast after a FNA was benign, my daughter would be dead. It was not guided with an ultrasound and I didn’t trust it. Finally she agreed to remove it and do an open biopsy and it was malignant (ductal invasive carcinoma). Obviously I went to another more competent surgeon who handled things much differently and he is now the chief surgeon at Hackensack.
