"Dr. Russell is a fantastic OB/GYN! She is very through and takes the time to understand your entire medical profile. Dr. Russell is attentive to her patients questions and concerns."

"I was referred to this provider by a friend. I was excited to have an OBGYN that looks like me and would understand my concerns. At my first appointment, Dr Russell had this subtle niceness about her that kind of hid some her condescending tones. I didn't pay any mind to it. In an effort to keep this review short, I will get right to the point. When I experienced some issues with my menstrual flow, she suggested exams that her office didn't follow up to schedule--even after I repeatedly called, I was continuously told she wasn't available. In a separate incident, Dr. Russell provided me a referral but failed to include key details that allowed Radiology to know what type of scan to conduct. It took me over 2 months to have Dr Russell and her office correct this. Then they failed to send authorization for the procedure to my medical insurance. After 2 weeks, it took a 3 way conversation with my insurance company and Dr Russell's office just for Irma (Dr Russell's front desk) to send required documentation for the referral. Irma agreed to forward the medical notes regarding the referral to my insurance company for approval. After making the referral appointment, I was informed by Radiology that the appointment was canceled because Irma didn't send my medical notes to the my insurance who won't approve the procedure without the notes. This is standard procedure of any medical office however, Dr Russell's office failed to follow through. After almost 2 weeks, 5 emails, and 8 phone calls, Dr Russell hasn't returned my emails or calls and Irma just said that she wouldn't have time to send the required documents today, nor tomorrow, nor the day after and maybe on Friday!! DON'T BOOK THIS DOCTOR IF YOU WANT QUALITY MEDICAL CARE. They don't follow up with you even when you are experiencing pain or in need of preventative care. And their front desk staff (Irma specifically!) is unprofessional and lack the professional decorum to even work in a medical setting. AVOID!"

"Dr Russell delivered my son seven months ago, and I could not speak more highly of the care she provided during my pregnancy, delivery, and through several check-ins post partum. More than with other doctors I’ve visited, I felt treated as a person rather than a patient. I am appreciative that she tended to let natural processes take their course and did not resort to or try to push me towards intervention until I was ready or requested it. Office visits never felt rushed, and I felt guided by her experience as well as an intuitive approach that took my expectations and personality into account. She expertly reads scenarios and transitions her personality to meet the moment - whether relaxed, intensified, or humorous - a well rounded quality I appreciate in a person I met so regularly with during an emotionally heightened time."

"Believe the other reviews- Dr. Russell is really great but her front desk staff are UNBELIEVABLY difficult, unprofessional and flakey. They often forget what they've promised on the phone (for scheduling appointments, sending links, sharing test results, etc..) so you have to repeatedly call them back again. They have submitted my blood work claim incorrectly which caused an incorrect $2,000 bill - it has take them 6 months (and me calling literally every 2 weeks to nag them for action & updates) to get this sorted out. They NEVER respond to their email- so don't bother. Dr. Russell is truly a wonderful obgyn but her staff make it a terrible experience overall. Once"

"I've been a patient of Dr. Russell for over 20 years, and followed her from Brooklyn. She is incredibly caring, intuitive, has a great sense of humor, and is always there to listens to any concerns I might have. In the darkest time in my life, she helped me to crawl out of the abyss I was in, and it's something I will never forget and will always be grateful for. Dr. Russell is more than a doctor, she genuinely cares about her patients and shows she care through her actions."
