"During my pregnancy I was told that I needed to be tested at 9 weeks, a test called panorama. It turned out testing was done too early and not enough fetal dna was present. At the time, I was switching to a new doctor and they said to have my doctor repeat the test. For some reason the testing done by Dr. Jacobson ended not being covered by insurance. Natera kept sending a claim to my insurance for 14k since February. In June I realized the claim was never processed. I called my insurance to find out what was going on and my insurance said the doctor (Dr. Jacobson) didn’t specify why I needed the testing done & they have been trying to get in touch with Natera but was unsuccessful. I called the doctors office and they gave me their Natera reps number, I call the rep and the rep said she had nothing to do with billing and she gave me the number for billing department, I call the billing department for Natera and they said they can speak to insurance, I call the insurance company gave them the billing departments number and while I was on the phone with them they called Natera. Natera was suppose to fax them whatever information they needed. I thought all would have been resolved at that point but September rolls around and I get a letter from my insurance stating that they are completely dropping the claim and I can file an appeal. I called my insurance and they say if I do want to file an appeal the doctors need to provide their progress notes to state the reason for testing. I called Jacobson’s office about the issue and the people at the desk tell me that they don’t have any progress notes. The receptionist or whoever she was stated it wasn’t a required test and I could have opted out of any testing. BUT at the time of testing it was never presented to me like that, they made it seem like it was part of my routine check ups due to my advanced maternal age. She then said that once I get the bill I can call back and they can somehow get the bill lowered. Fast forward to today, I get a bill from Natera for $349. I don’t know this all seemed like some kind of scam or fraud. Because how is it that my new doctor repeated the test and that gets covered but the initial testing done with Dr. Jacobson doesn’t get covered by my insurance. All in all be careful about any testing that you get done at this office, they might send incorrect billing information and you get stuck with a bill that technically should have been covered by insurance and always ask if the testing being done is necessary."

"Quite frankly I do not know where the bad reviews come from! I have been a patient of Dr. Jacobson for over 7 years now and she delivered my 2 babies. Yes she gets busy at times but she always answers my questions, my messages and my calls. She is very professional, knows what she is doing and is very well respected by her peers. I always recommend her to family and friends."

""I didn't want to write this review, but the recent actions of this office have left me no choice. Over the past three years of seeing this doctor, every appointment, aside from the first one, has felt like a chaotic horse race. Making an appointment is nearly impossible because they're CONSTANTLY BEING RESCHEDULED. Last year, I began experiencing PMDD, and my depression was exacerbated when my appointment was postponed for a MONTH. After waiting for an hour, the doctor I met with brushed off my concerns, simply saying "it's just your hormones". You have to plead to get an ultrasound, which is absurd considering it's 2023 and this should be a standard office procedure. During the brief 10 minutes that the doctor spends with you, the only advice given is "take hormonal contraceptives"; then she immediately leaves. By the time you get dressed, she's already with another patient. Reaching them via phone is a Herculean task with no guarantee of actually speaking to someone. They do have an online system that occasionally responds. This year, I experienced a distressing menstrual delay of 45 days and I requested an appointment, an examination, and at least hormonal tests because it was clear that something was off with my hormones. However, the office was only concerned about ruling out pregnancy. The final straw was when I discovered a lump in my breast and asked for a referral for a mammogram and breast ultrasound, only to be told, "In the state of New Jersey, you don't need a referral" (!!!!), contradicting the MRI facility's explicit request for a diagnostic test referral. This insufferable office denied me that, resulting in me having to stand at the front desk early in the morning, guiltily explaining that I'm stuck with doctor who can't manage her responsibilities of her office. I strongly advise avoiding this gynecology practice. Don't put your health and peace of mind at risk. Spare yourself unnecessary stress. UPDATE: A woman from the office called to apologize and tried to place all the blame on the colleague who initially contacted me. Unfortunately, I've heard enough empty promises and am done with this office.""

"Negative stars. Do not go to this doctor if you care about your physical or mental health. I have never met a doctor who is less careful with her patients, never aware of their charts, always asking the same exact questions over and over again even when the patient is in a 1 in a million situation. This doctor only cares about maximizing her number of patients and gives zero ***** about their actual wellbeing. She is so spread thin that she is impossible to get a hold of, even in dire situations. She takes months to get back to you and frequently cancels appointments that you had to book many months in advance. I left this doctor when I realized that she never even read multiple crucial lab results and completely misrepresented them to me. Her negligence and malpractice caused me severe anxiety for over half a year and I am still recovering from it. Luckily I was able to find a new doctor who is incredibly careful and caring and uses a different lab. Dr Jacobson is lucky I am not pursuing legal action. Do not go to this doctor under any circumstances."

"I have nothing but great things to say about this office! Although the practice is very busy, the staff was able to accommodate my own personal hectic work schedule. Upon arriving to the office, check in was very easy (done through text), and I was called upstairs promptly. Receptionist was very welcoming; as was Dr. Jacobsons assistant that brought me in the room. As for Dr. Jacobson- love love love!!! She was extremely patient, informative, and empathetic. You can tell when a doctor is genuinely happy with their profession. I will absolutely be referring any friends, co-workers, and family looking for an ob/gyn! Also- office was immaculate and very modern, most importantly- cleannnnnnn!!"
