"be careful, 'baby friendly' hospitals are parent hostile. they will promote breastfeeding and interfere with your recovery even when it pushes parents to sleep deprivation and to the brink of mental health collapse. the amount of interventions and invasive procedures 24/7 for unclear purposes is bordering on harassment. we had an unplanned C-section that we felt rushed into. the nurses were wonderful, but hospital policy prevents them from doing what they know is best. doctors were pushy insensitive mechanics with conflicting and confusing recommendations. the general atmosphere is military, from the oppressive physical space to patient provider hierarchy. this is not care, it is healthcare crisis. if your birth goes seamless and you're resilient af, you might be able to enjoy some really lovely supportive nurses who honestly should be running the place. but don't take your chances on it. our own experience was deeply traumatic and had long lasting mental health effects"

"My mom is currently at the West location after surgery and their nursing staff is horrible. If it wasn’t for the doctor we wanted for the surgery….but recovery is as important too! My mom waited over an hour to get the nurse to come to see what she needed. The nurse had an attitude and was rude over the phone when I simply asked them why it took so long - maybe the button for nurse assistance was not functioning or maybe they are short on staff; so I can better understand the situation if so and explain it to my mom but she was curt and just said does she still need help and when I said no because after an hour someone finally came, the lady placed me on hold...like really? You know it takes a lot to be a nurse or just to work in a hospital but if you don't have the heart to helping others change your job because the patients are someone's parent, child or grandparent. And can always be you or yours - what kind of treatment would you want yourself or them to receive?"

"Worst obgyn, security downstairs are rude and uneducated. Staff never seem to know what’s going on as far as covid-19 rules and restrictions, one day everyone is allowed upstairs the next day they will tell you you’re not allowed to have anyone in the room with you for ultra sounds. What type of mess is that? Today I arrived to get some test ran on both me and my partner for prenatal care and he was denied access, they refused to let him upstairs after I’d already explained he had to be tested today. Just horrible, this clinic will create unnecessary stress. Go else where!"
