"Today purchased 9 sheets of plywood and the guy who drought out the sheets of plywood just sat on the lift truck looking at his phone. After I loaded 2 sheets myself, he asked if I needed help, told him that is OK. Been shopping for few months now and first time this happened. I will avoid that parson going forward. Also, the main office does not know how to process an account with re-sale certificate, best they were able to do is open an account with my business name. Service is a hit or a miss. They do have what I need so till I find another place to buy I'll keep going there."
"If you are thinking that if you need moldings for your renovations and are intimidated at the thought of going to a lumberyard, you have to visit one of the Dykes Lumber Company stores! I went to the Dykes Lumber store in Long Island City and met two great salesmen, Dino and Dean. They were incredibly helpful and gave me the confidence to pick out a few samples ( no charge) of contemporary moldings to bring home to my wife! They also gave me lots of catalogs but were exceedingly helpful. While both Dino and Dean were very helpful, I’m guessing that your contractor will feel totally at home since they also sell all kinds of drills, saws and materials that every carpenter would cherish."
