Welcome to Salon V, a premier beauty salon and hair care institution located at 10 East 8th Street in New York City. At Salon V, we pride ourselves on our talented and creative team who are dedicated to keeping your hair looking great, healthy, and strong.

Our salon offers a warm and inviting environment where you can relax and unwind. Enjoy perks such as an aroma scalp massage before your shampoo, as well as a selection of beverages including tea, coffee, beer, or wine. We strive to provide exceptional service to all of our clients, without any pretentiousness.

Founded in 2004 by Vernelle and Alan Murphy, Salon V was created as a friendly and welcoming retreat for both New Yorkers and newcomers alike. In 2014, we relocated to Greenwich Village and welcomed senior stylist Meg DiGiovanni as a partner.

At Salon V, we offer an array of specialty treatments for your hair and scalp, as well as an ammonia-free color line to keep your hair in "virgin-like" condition. We believe in giving our clients the exceptional service they deserve.

Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 11am to 8pm, Saturday from 10am to 7pm, and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and we also offer complimentary Wi-Fi for your convenience.

Please note that we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a charge, so please be sure to give us advance notice.
