"Great affordable omakase! Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday. He wanted to sit at the end of the counter and they accommodated us no problem. They had 3 chefs making sushi, so anywhere you sat at that counter you had a great view! Pretty big place with cute decorations. The rice was perfect and the fish was delicious! The uni and ikura oyster was to die for! The eel hand roll at the end was very memorable and I don’t always love eel. We got the 2oz sake pairing. They also had a 3oz option. As someone who handles their alcohol pretty well, I was quite tipsy by the end. So I would say it’s safe to just get the 2oz option. All of the sake paired great with the fish and at the end, they gave us lots of extra sake! Overall delicious food with friendly chefs!"
"ive personally never tried omakase but i am so grateful that i was able to stop sushi blossoms to experience it! this meal that my friends and i shared during our weekend trip was truly a highlight. not only were their service fun and personable - the ambiance of the restaurant allowed us to just focus and tune in to the experience of connecting not only with your party but the chef too. we had tried the 17 course which at first was slightly daunting but as we were in the process of going through with the experience it was just right and i appreciated how their were other things in our menu for us to try too. tips: - RSVP ahead of time online - unisex bathroom available - bag hooks available at the bar - don't be afraid to connect with your sushi chef"
"Came here for the 8:30p seating with 2 friends. We did the premium option that got all the pieces included. Some dishes were better than others but all were fresh and tasty. I think overall, this is a great neighborhood sushi place for a more affordable omakase. Pro tip: if you go for the last seating of the night, your sushi chef will pour free shots of sake. Proceed if you dare."
"Pretty cool experience. The service is quick, the food is delicious. I was surprised at each new stuff that we were given. I took the premium menu, it was 17 pieces, small, but i was full at the end. People were very nice, they pay attention to your food allergies, they make special stuff if needed. For an Omakase in New York, the price is reasonnable. I highly recommend."
