"My wife and I rented from Jackson Real Estate for three and a half years. In the beginning everyone was great, the property was in excellent condition, and i have never had any problems with repairs, which lined up with what many people said about the company. We paid our rent on time, the same day every month. We got along with everyone on the street. From what I have been told by other, there has been a change in management from father to son, but we weren't notified of that so I'm not sure. I received a letter in the mail stated that I was being given 30 days to move out of the clear blue sky and because I was now on a month to month lease that is perfectly legal. No explanation at all. We didn't make any fuss. Packed our stuff and moved. So, yesterday, I meet with a guy named Ian, I have never seen nor had any interaction with him before. He came to do a final walk through and inspection. I suggest anyone renting from these people do this walk through WITH THEM. Keep in mind my wife and I moved out early and spent 2 weeks making sure that house was in good condition. We did everything, mopped floors, cleaned bathroom, and patched nail holes in the walls. Ian walks around and it is apparent he is surprised by how the house looks. He starts asking me about stoppers for the sink that they didn't supply any way. He says he is going to charge me for cleaning the cabinets and I immediately respond NO YOU'RE NOT. and yes. I was loud unfortunately. One thing I want everyone who rents to no you don't pay for normal wear and tear. I'm not paying nobody to clean your house for the next tenant. That is your expense. I said to Mr. Ian I expect my full deposit returned to me within 46 days that is law. If 1 penny is missing I will see you in court. Take lots of pictures. IT IS VERY CLEAR TO ME THIS COMPANY NO LONGER HAS THE INTEGRITY IT ONCE HAD."

"The experience I had from these people are awful I rented one of there properties for almost 10 years and out of the clear blue sky he told me it’s time for us to part ways whatever that’s suppose to mean I’ve always paid my rent on time even tho I had to give my daughters dog away because they said we weren’t allowed to have pets then me and my wife have children it’s a big back yard he said no pools no trampolines no nothing for my kids to have fun in a yard with so much space and I work on cars it’s a passion of mines I understand he doesn’t want me to work on them in the driveway I completely understand that but he told me that I can’t even work on them on the street now that I don’t understand this is just a reminder just be mindful who you are renting from when you rent from JACKSON REAL ESTATE ………"
