"The staff failed to mention that there would be construction going on in the building. At 7:30am I was woken up by loud banging and noises, ( check out is at 11 and I’d expect it to be quite until 11). Non stop work outside of my room. I arrived very early in the morning looking to actually get some sleep. I called the front desk to extend my morning and explained why. There was no apology. Only a $20 charge per hour after 11. The room was not clean, and stains on the sheets. Maybe it was an off day for them? But I spent $200 on a pretty bad hotel room, when I could have stayed at an actual nice hotel for the same price. Wouldn’t recommend this place."
"We stayed here over the Labor Day weekend, and it was surprisingly quite. Nice upgrade on the rooms. The staff was very polite, and helpful. We had a hiccup, but the GM took care of it immediately. We were very happy with our stay and will stay here again next year."
"Worst stay I've ever had in my entire life. Dirty disgusting rooms. Floors looked like they haven't been mopped in a while, hairs in shower, sheets had stains. The whole place smelled like smoke and mildew, we did not select a smokers room. We left and checked out after the first night. Do NOT book your room here."
"We booked a room for 8/13/23 for 1 night. We checked in got the key and opened the door and was met with a massive blast of pine sol cleaner. I am highly allergic to that and we were not able to stay there. We immediately went back to front desk and cancelled the room and went to comfort suites up the road. When we called about our refund they tried to say we stayed the whole night . The clerk check us out at 6:48 am in stead of 4:45 pm the night before about 10 min after check in. DO NOT STAY HERE! Manager is RUDE BEYOND WORDS! Would give it a -1 rating if I could!!!!"
"Quality inn 1503 Holland Rd. US 58, Suffolk VA. The room was not very clean. There were cobwebs in about all corners of room, the toilet was very loose of the floor I don't know what was holding it. The security latch on the door was hanging by a thread, it could have also used a sweep and mop. I was to tired from driving so all I wanted to do was a shower and bed so I didn't complain to them. I did tell them about the toilet and security latch so at least they can fix it for the next person. I did stay at the quality inn in Trenton N.C. and that was nice. It did had the same problem with security latch."
