"I'm interested in misty pines but i don't know if they would accept me because of my unfortunate criminal charge in the past, i was set up and io was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm a married father with 2 lovely children so i definitely in no way shape and form be a criminal. yes, I've made poor decision in the past before my children came to this world but I've been getting denied on my applications due to my past record which was a waste of 1000.00 bucks in applications to be denied. its not fair. i don't want to sign a application on misty pines to be denied and they take my money like all of the other communities i applied for. would misty give me a chance to trust me to prove I'm not a bad person?"

"I love living in Misty Pines Apts. The apartments are very affordable. The community is friendly and quiet. Pam in the rental office is the best. She is very sweet and very helpful. She is not only my apartment manager but my guardian angel as well. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. 5 Stars from me!!"
"I moved into Misty Pines in 2002. Throughout these years I've had more than 8 floods due to sewer problems and rain. Management never changed my carpet even though I requested that over numerous occasions. The only thing they did was change out my padding and put my same carpet back down. They never checked to see if any mold or mildew was there. If you are planning on moving there please don't allow them to move in apt 51 or any surrounding apartments. Just this week they have had 2 floods and nothing was done. They always just patch the problem and never completely fix the problem. I'm so glad I moved out when I did or I would be going through the same exact problems now. I've called channel 12, 8, 6 and 35 with not one returned call. These apartments really need to be torn down and rebuilt. I've met great people while living here but the circumstances have become unbearable. I feel so sorry for the people that's still dealing with these problems. Eventually it will become a health hazard. Something needs to be done. Please make these apartments your last resort in Ashland, VA."
