"Showed up at 1 am desperately looking for a room after many hrs of traveling. Only 6 cars there so we were sure we could get a room. We rang the doorbell many times and called twice...no answer. How do you run a hotel without any staff. After reading the reviews, I see that we were better off sleeping in our car."
"It has all the basics, it is clean and the price is fair. Do not expect high end. But you will be safe and can be on your way. I have stayed here 8 years in a row for an area event and have never been disappointed in getting what I paid for. 3-4 days notice is always wise."
"It is 8:30pm and about 10°F outside. I have to work tomorrow and the electricity breaker keeps tripping. The employee said he can't and won't do anything until morning to fix it. I went to the office to explain I need to plug in my alarm clock for work, otherwise, how am I supposed to wake up in time to get ready? The employee offered me a key to another room to stay for the night, which I accepted. We stayed in the room until about 3am because the heater in the second room just did not heat the room to a comfortable temperature. It stayed in the high 50°'s F. in the room, it was cold cold cold, so we just went back to the original room hoped for the best. Luckily, we got a chance to charge our phones in the second room and used our mobile devices as alarms. BTW this place neither has a landline nor alarm clocks. It does have a nice Samsung television, a microwave, and minifridge though. The decor is a total flashback. Very retro and the bathroom is old and a bit grimey. The blankets and pillows are so old that they tear easily. The pillows are a gross brown color and blanket is straight from the 1980's (see photos). The process is too high for what you got. It should be $75 less of you ask me. The shower is a tiny closet sized walk-in with weak water pressure. There is also no dresser or any sort of storage for clothing."
