Buckroe Motel

"Had my reservations about this place after asking around but gave it a shot. Glad I did. Definitely not the Same Buckroe Motel from back in the day. The lady that checked me in was awesome. The managers are new and they (Brenda and Tracy) are wonderful. Tracy, the assistant manager was very friendly and knew a lot about the area. She recommended the best places for food and recreation. The room was very clean and had just been renovated. Fresh paint new appliances, new bedding, new TV. They were alsoredoing several more rooms that week. It was so nice. Very quiet and no nonsense. Felt safe here. The drugs are not welcome anymore and they have signs up saying so. Would feel safe having my mother or kids stay here."

"For the price and location it's a good place. It's not as bad as people say. It's been improving, considering the location it's not bad. It's been a life saver to some people."

"This motel is horrible. Everybody there is on drugs even management. They don’t even have towels to provide. You literally would have to give them the towels you already have and they’ll wash them (no bleach) and give them back. Not to mention you have to catch them at the right time for them to even wash them for you. Rooms stink really back. Stains all over the wall. The bathroom is filthy. The whole room and experience was just horrible. Oh yeah and don’t even bother paying with a card. The manager (Ms. Missy) will try and swipe your card when you leave. Horrible horrible horrible hotel. I have nothing good to say about it. 0/10 do not recommend. Oh yeah and any good reviews you see about this place is nobody but her and her son typing fake comments. DISGUSTING PEOPLE"

"If you're on drugs or on the run this is the place for you. let me tell you about my experience at this horrible motel.. for one I was given a room that was not cleaned at all and filthy it was trash and mold black mold and old food stains on the walls it smelled HORRIBLE you can tell that room haven't been touched. I itched all night im a extremely clean person and i felt so uncomfortable all night couldnt change room due to it not being anymore apparently don't know who management is anymore but she looks to be on drugs too the one that I spoke to if that was management. Don't waste your time or money on this place it's not worth it and you will regret it. It needs to be shut down until improvements are made. 0/10"

"I have known this place for years It has always been mismanaged and now it's under new management for the past 2 weeks that is actually doing their best fixing up the rooms and installing new AC/Heater units. The rooms are clean with no bugs. Beds have bed bugs coves. Linen is clean with no stains and the management actually cares and is doing a good job turning this place around"
