"Met the owner and her family on Christmas Eve as their server. I was so grateful how patient and kind they were during a hectic dinner shift. They blessed me with their pineapple and cinnamon cake. Flavor and texture is exceptional! I fell in love at the first bite. I'm torn between which one is my favorite! My mom shares my sentiments but loves the pineapple. "This place is absolutely amazing. We have been going there since it opened and we have never been disappointed. The great thing about this place is you can sample before you buy. JUST AWESOME. Takes the guessing out of the "I'm not sure if I will like it". Next time your in downtown Norfolk, stop by. I bet you will be glad you did. DISCLAIMER: Don not blame me if you become addicted."
"My husband and I are huge fans of Pownd Cakes by Jen, so choosing them for our wedding cake was a no-brainer. Jen was super accommodating and allowed us to try as many cake flavors as we wanted. We settled on caramel (our favorite), lemon, and chocolate chocolate chip. We ended up purchasing a large three-tier cake to decorate, along with mini cakes that we cut into fours so the guests could try each flavor. The cake was a hit among our guests, and we certainly didn't mind taking the leftover cake home. :)"
