Richmond Technical Center

"Richmond technical Center was a good trade school go to. I don't know how it is now. I took my Osha yesterday there and certified. I also took up Horticulture with my former Horticulture teacher Mr. Wheeler. Good class to learn Horticulture and the landscaping environment. Sadly they shut down the class but great menories!"

"I am biased about this location so with this in mind...I have been teaching summers at this site and am excited about the things it offers students. I am always open to alternative education opportunities as higher education is not for everyone and now there are companies which hire based on skill. I wish more people and parents would encourage young people to consider alternative educational programs. Who knows, we may just get more students to stay in school and graduate if they are given more chances at being successful where their interests lie."

"Do whatever you can to go to another trade school, this one is absolute trash! Everything about this school EXCEPT the actual teachers is absolute garbage. My friendsand i have been waiting for transcripts since we finished our class 6 MONTHS AGO! Everytime i call the office i get a new BS story. "The person who makes them is on vacation." or "They are coming in tonight to hopefully finish." Not to mention the facilities are disgusting, you'll probably bend a rim in the back parking lot, and for a school teaching Plumbing and HVAC, they sure do have a lot of issues in the bathroom and with the AC. If i could give zero stars i would. I will for sure never come back to this "school"."

"Took a class here about 2 years ago, never again. Facility looks like a prison. Instruction was painfully boring. On top of that, everything was so unorganized when I went in to register not even the employees knew what was going on. Maybe things have gotten better since then but judging by the way Richmond-area schools have been recently, I highly doubt it. The only reason I gave two stars was because one employee (and unfortunately I can't remember her name) tried SO hard to help out me and countless other students but could only do so much with what she was given. She was great but really this place should be shut down."

"The adult evening tech school is a joke. The new guy they have calling the shots clearly doesn't know how a school is suppose to be ran. Very unprofessional. The website for simple information doesn't work nor does anyone pick up the phones around this place. My evening class where canceled a week after classes started."
