"this is the absolute worst sorry excuse for a mechanic i have encountered in all my years. my 6 year old correctly coined marty "the fake mechanic". kids are quick to pick up on these things :) he had my vehicle from july 2020 until now march 8 2021 (that is like 7 months) and hasn't fixed it yet. considering it was supposed to be a 2 week job i think we were more than patient. he finally promised to have it done before thanksgiving and i flew back to pick the vehicle up and when i arrived in town he told me it wasnt ready and promised it again the first of the week so i paid for a hotel stay 3 more days and then he still didn't have it ready and couldn't commit to a date. i actually had to get other family involved to help catch him in his too numerous to count lies. the man is full of excuses sometimes his excuses are so plentiful that one excuse contradicts another. i will be happy to provide details to anyone that is interested. please do your research before taking your vehicle to this charlatan. i have dealt with many auto shops and this is by far the worst. i would only recommend taking your vehicle here if you never want to see it running again. lies and excuses and time wasting is the only thing this guy provided. if you take your car here be forewarned."

"Marty has a lot of positive qualities, but one problem that is a total deal killer for me. Yes, he is courteous, knowledgeable, honest & reasonable, easy to talk to, works quickly (once you manage to get your vehicle in the shop), and does good quality work. And he goes the extra mile to save you money. But he takes the blue ribbon for the worst time manager I've ever seen in a business. In my 66 years, I have dealt with a LOT of mechanics. But I have NEVER had anyone repeatedly put me off, schedule & reschedule me over a period of weeks with the excuse that my job "has to be done in between other jobs and will take all day" (I just found a mechanic that took me the next day, and although he told me the EXACT same thing Marty did, he had the job done IN TWO HOURS FLAT, did a great job, and was just as reasonably priced as Marty). Marty repeatedly told me to "call at 9 am Monday morning", which I did, for 2 or 3 different weeks. Each time I was told either "it will be Friday now", or "I'm already booked up this week". Marty is a good person with good intentions, and because of that, he has more customers than he knows what to do with. If you can deal with the runaround, fine. I can't."
