"First time coming.. Came from Chesapeake!! The smothered and fried pork chop was the bomb seasoned!! Cabbage was good with a few carrots in it, Mac and cheese was good and yams were nice too. I will be back the owner and her daughter were super nice and I met Rhoda Live!!!!"
"I chose this spot while looking for a black owned restaurant. I went early afternoon. My husband and the curry goat and I had turkey wings. Our sides were rice and peas, collard greens, Mac and cheese, and cabbage. We ate from each other’s plate so I tasted it all and it was hittin home. Service was great! So check them out!!"
"I stopped in Norfolk Virginia to drop off a truck and I was at the airport, picking up a rental car and saw this restaurant on a google search, it was amazing and the food was great, I love supporting small family owned restaurants. I ordered the fried pork chops with the yams and cabbage. The lady gave me a iced tea and also a couple dinner rolls. I sat there and ate it for lunch. Everything was fresh tasting and hot."
"Went here a little before the close and still got access to the whole menu (rare in these times) the staff was welcoming an gave a good experience. I ordered curry goat mac n cheese n collard greens. Baby that food was hitting!!! It was not a bunch of chopped bones in my goat like other places n it was soooo tender, I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK"
"When we travel, we always look for Jamaican food. We got the best of both worlds at 7 spices. (My husband is Jamaican and I’m black). This is soul food and Jamaican food!! The fried chicken was a amazing-seasoned to the “gods”. Curry goat was also on point. 10 out of 10 highly recommended!"
