"I took a stab at this place this past week. I ordered fried deviled eggs for a starter and the ribs with cornbread, Mac N’Cheese, and collard greens. The deviled eggs were delightful! The cornbread was burnt and very dry, I needed a lot of water to get it down. The ribs were not smoked, just seemed to be grilled. The Mac N’Cheese was pretty good. The collard greens stole the show, they were tender and had the right amount of salt and a perfect kiss of heat (spicy). I ordered German chocolate cake and red velvet cake for dessert. Be careful, I got charged $30 just for two slices of cake and they definitely weren’t $15 a slice good. As for the atmosphere, it’s small on the inside but opens up to a big outside area with a few fire pits and outdoor seating. The service was ok, nothing to write home about. It was frustrating that they didn’t have sweet tea because they ran out of sugar. At a place that cooks Southern meals you have to have sweet tea, it complements the food."

"At first I thought I would not like it because you had to order at the bar but then I got over it when the food came. Everything was seasoned so well. I mean we enjoyed everything we had. And Kate at the bar was great. On Saturdays at 430 they have music bingo....we so enjoyed it. We are definitely going back."

"Went here for the first time. I will say parking is VERY limited and not great. So you may be parallel parking somewhere not close to the establishment. Also, the staff was super friendly and nice. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was good. Our food was okay. I really liked the smoked turkey and potato salad. For me, personally, the Mac & cheese was too watery. We had it as a side dish and the bbq chicken Mac & cheese dish. Both were the same texture. It’s summer so if you plan on sitting outside, be prepared to deal with the flies. And there were lots of them. We actually moved inside so we could enjoy our food. Overall, it’s a 4/5 for me. Staff was super great. Drinks were good."

"The food left something to be desired... Everything was cold except for the corn and the cornbread was dry. It took just under 30 minutes to get my food from the time I ordered while being the only one in the restaurant. For what all you get I personally think it's over-priced and could use a little more passion when it comes to the food. The only upside to this experience is that the pulled pork sauce is actually really good."

"3.5. This is a tough one because this place could make easy changes to be 5 stars. Utilize your employees better. 4 bar servers and 2 cooks is a bad ratio for a Sunday when it’s mostly families ordering food. Understand there is staffing shortages. Beer is over priced for coming in plastic cups. Get glass cups or lower price. And finally the fly situation outside makes eating on the beautiful patio not enjoyable. Definitely eat inside and the hangout outside. Service is nice and a really great spot. Food was good too. Only complaint is our pretzels were hot out of the oven and amazing but my loaded tots were cold. Will be back."
