"I love love love coach house! This is me and my husbands favorite spot for dinner. We love grabbing a seat at the bar for something a little more casual or a table for a little bit more romantic. The service there is always top notch, no matter who you get. The espresso martinis are the best in town! The wine list is great, and there’s always a good beer on tap. The charcuterie boards are incredible and you get so much for the price! Everything we’ve eaten here has been fantastic, from a simple burger to the short rib ravioli. I couldn’t recommend coach house enough"

"Coach House is an amazing place to grab a meal. We were able to make a reservation for 10 and they were very accommodating when a few didn’t show. The charcuterie was put together really well on a Virginia-shaped cutting board. The meats were great and paired nicely with the cheeses, grain mustard, peanuts, and raisins. I ordered the bison meatloaf and it was right there with meatloaf in taste and quality that I’ve had in the past in Wyoming. The root vegetables were perfectly seasoned and cooked. My only complaint would have been there was way too much crispy onions on top. For dessert I got the cherry tart and white chocolate bread pudding and it was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. "Perfect for an anniversary or special occasion. The servers know what to recommend and are very knowledgeable about the menu. The food, we’ve never had anything to eat where our reaction wasn’t totally satisfied. The menu is also well balanced with familiar items as well as new foods. Atmosphere is also geared to be comfortable and conversations are easy. Parking is a little rough but so is most of Norfolk. This is our go to for a nice upscale dinner."

"Came here with my best friend and Fitz was amazing. The service was so fast and the food was out of this world delicious. We wound up ordering 2 shrimp scampi dips. I ordered the lobster roll it was very fresh, tender, and delicious. You've got to stop by."

"First time here, definitely coming back. Came for Sunday brunch, table of six. "Morgan" our server was wonderful, real "can do" attitude to make special or additional requests seem effortless. Atmosphere was laid back and reggae-fied pop music hits in background was perfect fit for the whole sophisticated/urban rustic "vibe." (Think barn wedding set in a city's bohemian district.) Nice drink selection for brunch and our table ordered a variety of handmade specialty drinks, all very tasty and did not skimp on the liquor portion. Food--my sausage gravy biscuits ($8.99) and add on grits ($3) were a little different than I expected but tasty. Would describe biscuits as light and slightly more artisan than homestyle; still, quite good. Also, I prefer my sausage gravy a bit spicier but it didn't stop me from cleaning my plate. Grits also a bit more stylized than homestyle consistency, probably need some honey or pad of butter next time. ( If you want Cracker Barrel, don't order them.) I left satisfied with my order. My buddy next to me enjoyed his breakfast burger (pictured). Another friend's Shrimp and Grits were the hit of the table (listed as shrimp and oysters on the menu, so request the exchange to shrimp. Happily accommodated by Morgan) Large size and generous amount, plus bacon garnish :-) Noteworthy service: member of our party ordered one of the special entrees, but was too dried out when it arrived with our other dishes. Brought to attention of server and manager substituted her choice of another dish that came out quickly and saved the group experience. + Can't wait to come back for an evening meal and later to experience the outside deck."
