Razzo

"This review is based on a to-go order. I ordered the chicken parm, and when I opened it I thought it was two hamburger patties with a little cheese melted on top. It was dry, clearly overdone, and I couldn’t stomach it. The sauce is overly salty. Not sure what Razzo thinks normal chicken parm is like, but it’s not that. Cool little spot, but I’m definitely not going back."

"Unsure what the 4+ star rating is about. Bread is too sweet to be bread, i think they were attempting to go for a dinner roll? İt's as sweet as a cake, it's probably a 45 minute rising dough, very small bubble formation similar to a cake. With little to no crust formation dur to the short bake time. The fried mozzarella was fried a little too long, very dark. The marinara they are known for is excessively salty. İt's a solid meh. We ordered the veggie lasagna, stuffed eggplant, and chicken francese The veggie lasagna was smothered in the marinara which was already well salted. İt was the best dish of the bunch, I'd rate it a 3/10. The stuffed eggplant was too fried tasting, and in general not flavorful. The chicken francese is chicken breast, pretty bland as well, with a hint of lemon juice in the sauce. Friend who ordered it says too much oil. Neither are worth rating. The pasta is overcooked, dry, and bland. Service was perfectly fine, our server was plenty friendly, food came out plenty quick and hot. Unfortunately the food is just not good. Best wishes to the establishment. Also might want to fix the front door, it's binding on the floor and it's letting out the hot air inside. There are plenty of better options elsewhere without leaving Norfolk."

"The food was good, the service was okay (but it’s busy and short staffed so it was fine), the atmosphere nice, however… I was given an old menu with the old prices, and when the check all my food was up charged, and they didn’t do anything to fix the problem except find the menu, and take it out of the stack. This was first time coming here, and I was going to review and post about the restaurant on my page, and that’s why I took pictures of everything. Kind of upset that the server thought I was using an old picture when I was like nope, I literally just took picture and had an old menu infront of me. And then she went through the stack, and said “I went through them all just to make sure we weren’t going crazy and I found it” but didn’t do anything about it. Paid the bill, left, don’t think I’ll come here. Sad. I added the old price menu I got photos and the new price menu photos."

"This is a nice little Italian place to eat at in Norfolk. I lived in Italy for 6 years and am a very hard judge of Italian food and this passes as a good place. For an appetizer I got the asparagus with prosciutto. The asparagus could have been cut better, the ends were very hard and should have been cut off. For the main I got the veal Parmesan and it was delicious. For dessert I ordered the cannoli and it was perfect! The cream filling consistency was correct and well-balanced. The servers were polite and had good conversations with us. They also didn't hold us to their house rules which was respectful. Definitely going back!"
