"I don't know if they have their picks or what but at this location you won't get more than $5. Waiting around for them to say "We are offering $4.05 is crazy especially since the shoes and some clothes I see already in the store look outdated, dirty, & scratched up. You would be better off just giving your child's things away."

"Poor service, they didn't touch one thing in my bin but claimed it smelled like smoke. We don't smoke. The short manager lady has her pick and I had an issue with her when she was at the battlefield location."

"Poor customer service when selling items. They couldn’t figure out what price point my baby gates were worth and couldn’t figure out how to put them together, so wouldn’t buy them. One employee commented in a rude way that the outfit I brought felt wet, when it was recently laundered and completely dry, which the other associate at the register agreed with me. I was told the outfit I brought had a stain, then took that comment back and said actually it’s not stained but the front is too worn. Didn’t bother to call me to tell me that they had finished reviewing my items. The general demeanor in that area of the store was poor. I’m sorry if they were having a bad day, but not treated professionally. Won’t be selling or purchasing from this location anymore."

"I was able to find most of the clothes I needed for my son. My only complaint is that the store smelled very strongly of perfume throughout the store. I made my trip as short as possible but still left with with a migraine. Edit: the first couple times I went, the smell was there. But the last time I went it was gone, so it was a much better experience."

"I shop here all the time, all the ladies greet you when you walk in. I always leave here with something whether I spend $5 or $50. They have an awesome selection of shoes and toys and the prices seem right. I'm not offended by my total when I reach the register like at some other once upon a child locations. This location is worth the drive if you live in Hampton Roads."
