"I love shopping at Burlington! The after new years clearance deals are always satisfying. I almost always find what I want."

"The lines are too long. They need more cashiers or open up some self checkout lines. Some of the shelves were messy and unorganized. Burlington still has good products at great prices though."

"I visited the Jefferson location, Burlington, which happens to be right next to target, which was the actual destination I was shopping at tonight. I usually shop at target when I have my two little ones and my family shopping with me just because they happen to have shopping carts that can hold two children. I was shopping with my mother, sister, niece, and daughter tonight. I definitely prefer Burlington over target but it’s just the convenience of the carts. I decided that after I shopped at target I wanted to stop into the Burlington next-door. Because my niece & daughter were already settled into the cart and actually quiet I thought I can use the cart get in and get out of Burlington without them noticing that we went into a different store. It was close to closing time, but the Burlington was completely filthy. The kids department had merchandise all over the floor. I actually was in the home department when an associate from Burlington approached me and the first thing he did was say excuse me and stare at the cart in disgust. We were so confused that my sister actually turned to the associate and asked if we were in their way. Maybe they were trying to pass us. But instead, that associate did not greet us nor did he introduce himself, but he took time to tell us that we could not bring the target cart into Burlington and to make sure we didn’t do it in the future. Now I work in retail management, and I would have completely understood and would have gladly communicated the convenience, but that associate pointed out that he saw that my girls were settled into the cart on his own. I really didn’t understand him approaching us or making a comment at all because it was no way I was gonna leave that cart in their store so they really wasn’t an issue. We couldn’t even maneuver around the store in the cart because there was so much merchandise on the floor. So not only did you not greet me, nor introduce yourself, but you took time to reprimand me instead of apologizing to your customer for the state and condition of the floor and thinking me for coming to shop with you when clearly that was not my goal tonight. I loved Burlington before this experience, but I am completely turned off and will never shop there nor will my family."

"For my first time here, was pretty upsetting. Had found myself a size 14 button up black dress that was under $25.00, I loved it so I put it in the cart to purchase along with some other items. When it was time to pay I got told I couldnt purchase the dress. The young girl spoke so softly I could barely understand her despite me asking her to repeat herself again and again. From what I could hear, she said that she tried twice and something about it being marked red. I asked her what was going to happen to the dress, and she said that it would be thrown away. I can't wrap my head around why I couldn't purchase this dress. All and all a very confusing and dissapointing experience. Especially since my other 2 items totaled out to be $98.56, then being unable to purchase a single dress that I truly loved. If that dress from yesterday is still there, I still want it. Let alone just how messy this store was. Things quite literally stacked and thrown around the place."
