"What you would expect from a little local diner. A bit over priced for what we got, but they make their own chili and it is better than most. overall, better than I expected it to be. so close to 3 stars on the food but everything is frozen and not fresh. for the price $32 for 2 burgers, chili cheese fries and drinks. It's worth a visit"

"I love little out of the local places like Sloopys. Sometimes, you can find absolute gems. Sadly, this was not the case. I will say i loved the diner's atmosphere. It was a little slice of classic Americana. The french fries were the highlight. Golden and crispy with seasoned salt (I love seasoned salt on fries). The "Sloopy" burger was not very good. The veggies (lettuce, tomato, onion) were very fresh. The bun was adequate. The meat was horrible. It was a very noticeable frozen meat slurry patty. Just had a horrible taste and texture of a dish sponge. The "trashy" tater tots were a letdown as well. My son could not eat them. I tried them and agreed they were inedible. Maybe other things on the menu are better, but if you name a burger after the restaurant, it should be the best thing on the menu."

"Been a while since visiting, and I think the food has changed. They used to have great hamburgers, but the meat does not seem to be fresh. The chili on the kids dog was too spicy, however, they graciously fixed a new one without. Meh..."

"There is a rule I have. If there is a place with a lot of pickup trucks in the parking lot at noon, go there. Located just up the road from Eastman Chemical plant, it's your basic quick burger/ dog/ salad, etc joint. Small room with 11 tables and 6 stools at a counter. Daughter and I both went with the Sloopy (made to order) cheeseburger (8 oz. vs. the regular 5 oz.) and it was truly outstanding. Saw someone with a chili dog with more ground beef in the chili that liquid. I nearly changed my order on that sight alone. Onion rings were darn near perfect. Want fish tacos? They have them. Burritos and quesadillas. Yes. They also have a 2 lb burger challenge. 8 oz. Burger was plenty."
