"The back of the store has pee and human droppings. The young black girl with the red hair always there is ALWAYS very rude and unpleasant to the people keeping you employed. Welcome to low wage service where they treat you just like the prices..."
"From 2008 to 2012 this place has been investigated nothing for duplicating transactions of SNAP benefits for five years the family looks very clean no bad smells or odors the shells were arranged nicely the reason for this rating is for the criminal convictions on the Family Dollar do not approve of anyone stealing at the cash register from people who have to work every day or the disabled being stolen from this is including our country's veterans being treated this way"
"Opens and closes when it wishes. Outside facade is cluttered with garbage. Aisles are always obstructed with half empty boxes of stock. Employees are generally nice, but they are clearly mistreated and underpaid. It's also evident management under staffs shifts. Don't count on them to be open during stated business hours or well stocked. FD moves into food deserts like downtown Lynchburg. They are a convenience, but certainly not at a "discount". Store like this keep the impoverished poor and do little to serve the community."
