"Tonight's dinner at Soul Mountain in Front Royal, VA was terrific. We were greeted with excellent service that was both attentive and accommodating, and the food was amazing. We opted for 'The Big Earl’ dinner, a generous platter that included lightly breaded catfish, four succulent large shrimp, and a standout Maryland lump crab cake. The crab cake deserves a special mention – it was brimming with fresh, tasty crab meat. Accompanied by seasoned fries, the entire meal was served piping hot. The restaurant has a rustic backwater feel, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. It's bright and clean, with background music that is pleasant without being overpowering, allowing for easy conversation. The flexibility in the menu was also impressive. "While we heading back from Shenandoah, we stopped by this place for dinner. We ordered their popular menus and OMG, it was soo good. The manager had a lovely chat with us. The Amazing food, big portions, and fun atmosphere. If we get chance to go Shenandoah again I Will definitely be back !"

"We searched Google for a restaurant in Front Royal and Soul Mountain had some great reviews. They definitely live up to the reviews!! The service was excellent and all the staff were so friendly. We ordered the recommended dishes and were so happy with our meals. 1/2 rack ribs with Mac and cheese and pulled pork with Mac and cheese. The sauce was wonderful and ribs fell off the bone. Highly recommend stopping here for a great meal!"

"My parents took me to this place for a lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. I knew from what they had told me the food was going to be good but, WOW! I could not believe the catfish meal. Now understand this wasn't a place that just fried up a ton of catfish and served it until you got your fill, but 1 large catfish filet excellently prepared true foodies know what I mean.... my mother had the Chicken/steak and cheese and that was an explosion of flavors that way beyond my expectations for chicken. Great Job, I will be back."
