"Little coffee shop in the lobby area of a hostel. The coffee was decent enough but a bit pricy. I think the much bigger selling point is how cute the space is, very eclectic and fun. Cool people to meet, mostly folks visiting. Also a decent spot to do some work with wifi."
"Located inside a capsule hostel just off of U Street NW, its selling point is its location. It's around the corner from the U Street Metro station and popular U Street NW with its many restaurants, bars, and stores. The space itself is large. There's no consistent decor or theme. It's really just a few more-bare rooms with random wall hangings, a neon light, and places to sit. The cafe itself offers a full espresso menu. For almost $7, I ordered a medium pumpkin spice latte. It was among the worst I've ever had. It lacked any flavor and tasted more like burnt coffee. It may have been just an off day so I'll go back and try again since I've always heard great things about Brew on U."
"Delightful little neighborhood cafe! Love the friendly vibe. How pleasant it is to be greeted with welcoming smile! Dirty chai and a breakfast muffin was warm and tasty. Got to work on my stuff for a while. Will be one of my regular spots."
