"It's Amphoras! It's an institution! Great breakfast featuring a waiter in a tux! He was all business and got us taken care of very well! Biscuits and gravy were amazing and my wife had a delicious looking omelette that she wouldn't share, so great food. Not highway robbery. This is the diner experience Im looking for!"
"Discovered this place. Loved it. I grew up in Chicago enjoying Greek diners like this. So glad I found Amphoras! Great food and fast accurate and friendly service. Steve was a treat to meet. Our server was busy but she did a great job. We'll definitely will be back and I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a Greek diner experience."
"Wow...have things changed. Prices are much higher, and food quality is not what it used to be. Our french toast orders were all over cooked. Service was nice but limited after the waitress knew we weren't ordering coffee. Not sure I can justify the expense even for a special celebration."
"Amphor's Diner in Herndon, VA has 3 major things going for it: 1) The food selection is great, there are so many dishes the menu has over 6 pages of items to choose from. 2) The food was delicious and the restaurant let me customize my omelet to include no cheese and egg whites only, which I loved. 3) The staff was mega friendly and very accommodating."
"Always a treat. We usually go for breakfast, but depending on the time, my wife will often order lunch. She also greatly enjoys the spicy Bloody Mary. I've had mostly egg dishes, with usually good results. Sometimes better or worse. This time was better, though service was so-so. My 3 ingredient omlette had a good mix of ingredients, properly proportioned. My wife had the BLT. I've had consistent luck with their desserts. Worth a visit."
