"My favorite place!! I have another sushi restaurant much closer to my house but I rather come here! The food is amazing and reminds me of the sushi I had in Japan/Boston. Amazing,fresh, delicious. I’ve had so many of their rolls and they’ve all been so good! Definitely recommend! It’s truly become my biggest craving! And the staff is wonderful and so nice!"
"We drove a bit far to Mari because of the positive reviews and it did not disappoint! We've been twice now (NYE and this past weekend) and enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly service (chef, waitress, manager and bartender), and fresh, delicious sushi! The fish are fresh, ingredients are high quality, and food is plated beautifully. We tried the Omakase and every dish was amazing! Our favorite were the torched salmon belly that melted in our mouth and Hokkaido uni. The momo more and yuzu sour cocktails were perfect too."
"The place is a bit small but also not too busy even on the weekend so I think there's a good balance. The owner and waiter were very attentive. Even the sushi chef was nice enough to come by to say the white tuna I ordered was not available and offered fatty tuna at the same price. The sushi is quite fresh. You can taste how fresh the sashimi are. I like the fact that the miso soup was included in the sushi order! All the other sushi places are charging so much for miso soup! I also like the overall dimmed lighting with brighter spotlights on the food. That's very clever way to show case your food. Two things that will prevent me from coming back though. One: even though the fish is super fresh, the sushi rice taste was quite off. The rice is key. I can't say I like the rice here. It's not cooked right. It could be better. Two: the sushi portions are quite off. One order had like 5 small pieces and two other in the same section of the menu had 8. They had similar prices. That was odd."
