"La Ong is a cool Thai spot with cozy outdoor patio seating. Be warned, there’s *another* nearby Thai spot with a similar name, Luang Thai, so be sure to clarify on the restaurant name. This unfortunate mix-up led to a half hour delay to work out logistics b/w our group. Came here with family, and extended family. Group of four got seating in the patio outdoors. Initially a five minute wait, as there are only four tables in total. If I remember our table had: Tom Yum Noodle Soup Spring Rolls Drunken Noodles — Chicken Pad See Ew — Pork Spicy Basil Chicken (Fried Rice) All food was good. I especially am partial to the chicken basil fried rice (fried rice anything, really). Drunken noodles and pad see ew were able hand in hand equal. It did not help the dishes look really similar so it’s hard to tell one apart from the other. All in all, decent food, and I’d recommend as a Thai spot in the Herndon area. Ofc, be sure to double-check the name of the spot to avoid mix-up’s, as mentioned above!"

"Really good Thai restaurants with a very diverse selection in the menu. Food was amazing and the staff were super friendly. It's one of the places that is worth going there to have a good night dinner. Super kids friendly and punctual and the food comes very fast. I will definitely go back to the game. Enjoy while you can!"

"The best Thai food in town. I ordered 3 dishes for 2 persons. The portion is quite large. The taste is real good and authentic. Services were super good. All the staffs are friendly and helpful. The dessert, “Bua Loy” was very very good. Strongly recommend to try!!"

"Its was my first time here. The place was packed with only about 2 waitress and 2 waiters working the whole place during lunch. There was also a big party and a wait line. The wait was a bit longer for service. The Thai tea was very flavorful. The calamari was freshly fried, nice and hot, a bit greasy/oily but I. The spring roll was nice and crunchy. The ginger stir fried used a different kind of mushroom fro mother Thai places. The Penang lunch special came with the spring roll. At first it looks like the portion is small, but at the end, it was more than enough with a sweet spiciness to it. Given that it was lunch time with a big party, the would be a wait line. The food was delicious and would recommend. The lunch prices are pretty good too and so are the portions for it."
