"My wife and I lived there. The absolute worst place ever lived. The cockroaches will carry you away office personnel is very unprofessional and will never call you back claiming they are busy when the office is always closed. Had a hot water heater bust never fixed nor replaced. The area is not suitable for children it's becoming worse and worse as I type cops are always in there. We moved out and tride to give 30 day notice but office girl is never there and plays dumb when ever we see her and ask now charging us 3000 wich they will not receive. I would look for a cardboard box before renting from there"

"Hopefully, you are reading this before you apply for an apartment listed on the Merrifield website. Unless you want to deal with a bait and switch or outright scam the likes of which you usually find on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace go elsewhere. Seeing that they're now advertising on Craigslist made me post this warning. I applied for an apartment listed for $1170 a month and while they have a warning that the listed rent may change, being I was applying directly on their website I felt confident that the posting was accurate. After completing the application process I checked daily for progress because you'll never hear anything from them. Eventually, I found out I was "approved" , but now the rent was $1350 a month with no explanation. I called the office directly to discuss the change in rent and possibilty of switching my application for another apartment that was listed in my price range. I've called them several times and no one ever answers the phone and messages go unanswered. They also don't reply to emails sent to them through their website. At this point I decided to just go ahead and take the apartment I was approved for. However, I found that there was no lease to sign on the website and a few days later a random summary showed that the apartment is unavailable. As I did before, I called them and left messages to find out whether there is a lease or available apartment with no response. I've also contacted them directly through their website with zero response. I've already contacted my credit card company to dispute the fee I paid for the application. Maybe they'll respond to their inquiry because I can't get anyone to respond. If you do take the chance and apply to this questionable complex protect yourself and use a credit card for your protection!"

"If I could give this place zero stars, I would! We lived here for three years. We just moved out recently in November of 2022. Black mold, leaks from the air conditioner, a caving in bathroom floor, leaking roof, filthy old carpet, and unresponsive management are just a few of the troubles we faced while living here. They are still after us for money even though we moved out months ago, as well. My advice, DO NOT rent here. I bet they will delete this too, just to cover up their mess."

"I have lived here for a while and the staff are really nice and they really good at fixing anything. My light fixtures was broke and maintenance came in n took him a couple of minutes and it was good as new."

"Worst place to rent. The landlord was very sweet but the apartment was dated and not kept up with. Maintenance did not do much. Ac unit was leaking water and all they did was drain it and not properly clean or fix it. Most likely were breathing in mold because the ceiling was leaking dark brown stuff. Was told they were going to fix the roof in April and it never happened since we moved out in September. Also sketchy neighborhood. Also when we moved they changed management and they are saying we never paid a $180 cleaning fee when we definitely did with the previous landlord in person."
