"My favorite location to shop for wine and beer in Bethesda. They have a great selection of both and the staff have always been very helpful whenever I have questions or ask for a recommendation. Alcohol prices are pretty expensive all over the Bethesda area but I’ve always found them very competitive at Lance’s which makes it a great choice as well."
"I love this place because it is one of the only beer/wine stores in Bethesda open late(ish). The only liquor store nearby closes by 8:00 pm, even on a Friday! What is that?! Bethesda is the most bizzare city imo...However, Lance's is my go-to for this reason."

"This is by far my favorite beer and wine store in the area. Their prices are far better than any of the other beer and wine stores nearby within walking distance. The staff is always very knowledgeable and friendly as well. It's hidden on a small side street and could be kind of hard to find for a first time visitor but it's certainly worth a stop if you're in the market for eclectic craft beers and a great wine selection. They also have a wine chilling machine here that takes a few minutes to bring your wine or champagne down to serving temperature. If they don't have what you're looking for they are always more than willing to look into ordering it for you if it's available through their distributor."
"I was very happy with my beer selection. And I know they have a very nice wine selection also. I noticed somebody else commented that the prices were pricey but I do not agree with that I’ve been to plenty of other places around Bethesda area and this person and prices are lower than a lot of the other ones. So I’ll be happy to come back again and do business with this owner."
