Giant Food

"I enjoy Giant Foods. Good prices, good selection of gluten free, dairy free, soy free foods. When I'm not in Central VA, this is my preferred place to get snacks and some Katz and Udi branded products. I'm staying away from the Schar brand since some of their items have gluten (croissant), soy (wafers) and dairy. I like the layout, things are easy to find and they have an easy to use reward program. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and they sell Chobani Extra Creamy Oat Milk."

"Great customer service! The staff is nice and kind when helping me with my grocery shopping experience. I love how this giant is open 24/7 and the store is always clean. I highly recommend this giant to anyone that needs to do some grocery shopping!"

"Covid shortages never left this store (Georgetown Square, Bethesda) Today, mid day, no converted rice in anything less than a 10 pound bag. Very little salsa. No sweet onions. No store brand English muffins and precious few of any other brand. And the store is consistently a mess, with stuff everywhere, and lots of questionable produce. There seems to be plenty of help here, mostly standing around talking about how much they hate their jobs, except for one manager who is always yelling across the store for reasons nobody can explain. I’m not sure why it’s so hard to buy regular groceries in this store, but it is. Now I have to go to Harris Teeter even though I already did my grocery shopping. PS – there are no cart corrals in a very large parking lot, which means there are always carts rolling about into cars. If you need a reminder of what it’s like to shop in a third world country, highly recommend this store. And it’s been this way for years."

"I love this Giant store! Every time I shop here I always go to Tony's line. He is a shy and quiet guy but he gets you out of the store very fast and always goes the extra mile to make sure you got all your savings as he has the coupons memorized. Oh and to management , about the Darryl guy that left Tony that bad review, please ignore him. I actually was in line that night and I can vouch that every time Tony gets a customer he gives them his undivided attention. Darryl failed to mention that he threw a temper because Tony wouldn't accept his double coupons. Tony even went to management to confirm and management told Darryl he couldn't use double coupons. This man threw a tantrum like a child. Tony suggested the man use one coupon and head to another checkout to use it which is what he did. It was dead slow after 8pm, at night. That customer was downright rude! I love that Giant appreciates and supports those that are in school as they were great to all my kids who were in school and trying to get their degrees. Keep up the great work Tony and Giant!"

"I love ❤️ self check out here with sneeze guard barriers. The small carts are great for single person shopping. The staff also disinfects the high touch areas on self checkout. Bus 26, 6, 96 stops here. $5 sushi on Wednesdays!"
