"I live here at the carriage works apartments and I love it! I'm always to myself and i dont have to worrie about no one in my business. I barely see anyone when I come in and out of my place. I've been living here for 5 years going on 6 years. The place is really clean if you ask me. I dont have any problems with bugs or rodents that's one of the best things I love about this place . If you have a problem with something in your place and you let management know they make sure the problem is fixed. We have a playground in the back of the building where the kids can play safely. If I had to recommend this building to anyone I definitely give them a thumbs up."

"I have lived her for 5 1/2 years now and love my apartment!! The things I don't like is that this is a locked building and need a fob to get in and other tenants let people mainly kids in that don't live here and they run the building and hang out in the lobby!! Don't care much either for the office personal they need a class on how to talk to others!!! Like I said love my apartment and made good friends!"

"I'm extremely tired of this place and cannot wait to move. Where do i start? First off id like to agree with the previous com-mentors of this apartment. When it was said that they pee in the elevators it is true. So true that they had to rip up the carpet in the elevator because it kept happening. Imean the elevator was trashed every day. its disgusting. id rather not have an elevator at all if its constantly dirty. I never understood the correlation between low income and complete lack of regard for life, hygiene and others, but i do now. The trash room is disgusting af. People allow their kids to drag the trash on the ground leaving a disgusting wet trail of who knows what in the hallway. As stated previously, they do "inspections" on people's apartments that are not even section 8. Maintenance guy proceeds to walk into my bathroom to check and see if i know how to clean up. ?! Preposterous... In any case, it was extremely offensive. You better not have a nice day outside. People cackle and talk loudly out front with lawn chairs sometimes at unacceptable times of the night. People leave their children unattended in the hallways to run up and down and scream at unacceptable times of the night. I am over this place. Please do not move here."

"This place is horrible, there drainage for the plumbing all leads to one central hub that is too small to accommodate it's needs. My fiance's apartment is on the first floor and the kitchen and counters have been flooded 6 different times. We were not even using the sink at the time, several times was woken up to the sound of the water over flowing from the sink. Has damaged and destroyed alot of her stuff on the counters. There solution is to have there in house maintenance guy come and try to slove the problem. They had a plumber there who told them the drainage for the building was to small and needs to be addressed but they are to cheap to actually have the problem fixed. Lucky we have been home the times this has happened or the whole apartment would of been flooded. This morning it happened again waking my fiance up and when she called the office they sent the maintenance guy, he got there and seen the same issue and didnt even bother to help clean up. It's nice to see how they have regards for others property. Not only this they have "servalance" cameras that don't work, my car was involved in a hit and run parked in there lot and when the police came to review the footage they were told "Oh we are having issues with our equipment rite now and it doesn't work" this is not the first time that the servalance has been needed and wasn't working. The gym they have there is filthy and the equipment is almost always broken, most of the time there are unsupervised children just in there playing on the equipment and when you tell the office about it they just say Oh what times so we can look on the camera and do nothing about it. This place looks nice but has alot of issues and strongly advise you looks elsewhere to avoid the headaches."

"Very clean, wide hallways and great decoration. If I enjoyed living in apartments I would apply here."
